Originally a 4th round (117th pick overall) draft choice by the Giants in 2011.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
Brewer did not played in a regular-season or postseason game as a rookie in 2011. He was in uniform, but did not play, vs. Green Bay (12/4) and at Dallas (12/11). He was inactive for the other 14 regular season games and 4 postseason games.

COLLEGE:
Injuries limited Brewer to 29 games during his Indiana career, but he started 21 games at right tackle in his final 2 seasons…He was credited with 162 knockdowns and 16 touchdown-resulting blocks…In 2010, received the Don Howell “Outstanding Offensive Lineman” Award, given to the team’s top blocker…Also received All-Big Ten honorable mention from the league’s coaches and media…Started 9 games at right tackle, sitting out 3 midseason contests vs. Ohio State, Arkansas State and Illinois due to an ankle sprain suffered vs. Michigan…Led the team with a career-high 87 knockdowns, adding 9 touchdown-resulting blocks while leading a front wall that gave up just 12 quarterback sacks, ranking 3rd in the league and 15th in the nation with an average of just 1.0 sacks allowed per game…In 2009, started all 12 games at right tackle, teaming with All-America left tackle Rodger Saffold to lead an offensive line that allowed only 16 sacks, ranking 3rd in the Big Ten and 28th nationally for fewest sacks allowed (1.33 per game)…In 2008, after 2 years of inactivity, Brewer saw action as a reserve right offensive tackle in the team’s first 8 games…Sat out the Hoosiers’ final 4 contests with a severely sprained ankle…In 2007, did not play because of a foot injury…In 2006, redshirted as a freshman.

Attended the United Way of New York City Gridiron Gala honoring Chris Snee.
Attended the Giants’ annual Kickoff Luncheon benefitting Hackensack University Medical Center.
Joined teammates to serve a meal at Eva’s Village in Paterson, N.J. for the clients
of the shelter.
Attended the Giants Rookie Halloween Party at Hackensack University Medical
Center, where the rookies dressed in costume and visited the pediatric cancer unit.
