How come the Giants never get a super tight end like Jason Witten or his likes? We´re always struggling with this problem.

Dear Helge,
How come the Cowboys haven’t drafted a four-time Pro Bowl guard like Chris Snee? How come they didn’t acquire a two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback like Eli Manning? Every team has hits and misses in personnel. Jason Witten is certainly a great player. The Giants have had a few good players during his tenure in Dallas. We must have, because we won two Super Bowls during that time. Regarding the tight end position…Kevin Boss and Jake Ballard contributed to championship teams. Martellus Bennett was productive in his one season here. We’re certainly not saying they’re as good as Jason Witten, but the positon has not been as barren as Giants fans often portray it.

What's going with Trindon Holliday? Why is he not being mentioned on special teams?

Dear Will,
Holliday hasn’t practiced in more than a week because of a strained hamstring. He missed the Buffalo game and will not play vs. Pittsburgh. It’s hard to mention a guy who isn’t on the field. The Giants hope he returns soon.
With both Marcus Harris and Corey Washington showing flashes of great potential, which of the two is more likely to make the roster?

Dear Marco,
That’s a tough one. I don’t know that either one has an edge right now. Harris has more experience, because he’s been competing in NFL camps since 2011. Washington is a raw rookie, but he’s 6-4 – you can’t teach height – and has talent. Both remain longshots to make the team. They still have four preseason games to show what they can do.
