Today’s edition of The Mailbag on Giants.com:

Do you think the Giants will try hard to sign Domenik Hixon. I think he's our most productive receiver when given the opportunity. Has potential to be a superstar!

I like Domenik Hixon quite a bit myself, though I think it’s a bit over the top to call him a potential superstar. Six years in the NFL is enough time to establish whether or not you have those kinds of credentials. But Hixon is a very good football player, both as a receiver and return specialist. I know Tom Coughlin thinks highly of him. I believe the Giants will make an effort to sign him. Having said that, they have numerous players who are free agents and budget/cap issues to consider. If I had to guess, I’d say Hixon will be wearing a Giants uniform in 2013, but nothing is guaranteed.
