Peter King makes his first round prediction for the Giants in the NFL Draft!

On the eve of the 2014 NFL Draft, final mockups will be rolling in all day and night.

From ESPN to to NFL Network, we’ll bring you what the biggest names in the business are projecting in preparation for the three-day draft, which begins Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall.

2014 first round - article First up is Peter King of Monday Morning Quarterback, who has the New York Giants selecting Notre Dame offensive lineman Zack Martin with the 12th overall pick.

“The offensive line is being overhauled and the Giants will pounce if Martin’s there,” King wrote. “’Most versatile lineman I’ve seen come out in the draft in the last 10 years,’ one assistant GM tell me.”

King’s top five, in order, were linebacker Khalil Mack (Buffalo) at No. 1, followed by tackle Greg Robinson (Auburn), wide receiver Sammy Watkins (Clemson), defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (South Carolina), and offensive tackle Jake Matthews (Texas A&M).

“Of all the years I haven’t known anything entering the draft,” King writes, “this is really the year I don’t know anything.”

If this is true, the next three days should be a fun ride.
