1. Reese Recap. General manager Jerry Reese held his annual pre-draft press conference on Thursday, one week before the three-day event begins. Here is everything you need to know from it:

Carson to announce draft pick. The NFL announced yesterday that 32 former players, one representing each club, will announce the 2014 second-round draft picks live from Radio City Music Hall in New York on May 9. For the Giants, who hold the 11th pick in the second round (43rd overall), Hall of Fame linebacker Harry Carson will be on stage.

3. Draft Breakdown. broke down the history of the organization’s first-round draft picks, as well as Jerry Reese’s selections by position since taking over as Giants general manager.

4. Twelve years of No. 12.
 The Giants hold the 12th overall selection in the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft, so we took a look at the past 12 picks at that slot.

5. Bear now a Falcon. Free agent tight end Bear Pascoe, who played five seasons and won a Super Bowl with the Giants, signed with the Falcons on Thursday. The Giants host Atlanta this season in Week 5.
