'Cuse alumni dig new unis; Coughlin flashback

Ryan Nassib and Justin Pugh took to twitter to talk about the new Syracuse Football Uniforms

Two years too late.

Former Syracuse teammates and current New York Giants Justin Pugh and Ryan Nassib won’t be wearing their alma mater’s new uniforms, which were unveiled yesterday by the school.

And by the looks of it, they’re a tad jealous of the current Syracuse players.

They’re sure to get over it, though, as the 2013 draft picks are now more concerned with Big Blue than the Orange.

Meanwhile, the new uniforms have come a long way from the days of Tom Coughlin. A wingback, the Giants head coach was a three-year letterman at Syracuse for legendary coach Ben Schwartzwalder from 1965-67 and played in a backfield with All-America backs and Pro Football Hall of Famers Larry Csonka and Floyd Little.

Coughlin also began his coaching career there in 1969 as a graduate assistant for the Orange.
